Lordi Consulting's Michelle Hayes Receives Widener Award
Internal Audit Senior Manager Assumes Prominent Leadership Roles in Professional and Philanthropic Organizations
WEST CHESTER, PA - (June 15, 2006) – Lordi Consulting LLC, one of the fastest growing providers of accounting and internal audit services in the Philadelphia area, announced today that Lordi Consulting associate Michelle Hayes received the distinguished Alumni Service Award from Widener University’s School of Business. The award recognizes her outstanding professional service to the institution.
Additionally, Hayes was elected to her first term as Second Vice President for the Institute of Internal Auditors’ Philadelphia Chapter, which provides fellow auditors with leadership and guidance on best practices. She joins her colleague Dave Naser, Director in Lordi Consulting’s Internal Audit Services group, who serves as the President of the local chapter. Hayes’ appointment will be effective July 1, 2006.
Hayes’ significant role in community affairs has further resulted in her being named First Vice President for Family & Community Services of Delaware County, a member agency of the United Way, also beginning July 1. She will act as co-chair the organization’s 2006 Holiday Auction. Hayes’ active participation with the non-profit organization is illustrative of the long-standing philanthropic focus of Lordi Consulting and its related companies. In addition to the United Way, the firm’s activities have included events in conjunction with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Salvation Army, as well as ongoing support for families affected by hurricanes last year.
